Most everyone has a morning ritual, from brewing tea or coffee to doing yoga or meditating or just taking a moment to be thankful for the amazing day to come. For many, starting the day off right includes something nutritious; we’ve got fruit smoothies, vegetable juice, green tea, protein shakes, and of course there is a morning exercise ritual as well. However, quite possibly the most common morning ritual is that all to familiar aroma of a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Although I was never a hard-core caffeine junky, I enjoyed the morning coffee ritual of grinding bean, heating water, and pouring it into the press. I soon realized that the energy drop in the afternoon was not helping through my long day of teaching. I decided to look for an alternative to caffeine; I wanted something healthy that would provide me with energy without the afternoon crash. Of course, it had to also fit into my morning ritual. In my quest, I found more that what I was looking for. I tried quite possibly every herbal and coffee alternative on the market and although some were better than others, it wasn’t enough for me. Some only had 2 ingredients. Some were instant and didn’t provide the bioavailable nutrients I was looking for. What I ended up with is a product that meets many needs:
